people,
out of their fear of the unknown,
will doubt the words they do not understand.

out of their fear of the unknown,
will spin the same words over.

out of their fear of the unknown,
they make a doctrine their creed.

the things people turn to in their world,
are all caused by the unknown.

out of fear, humans create others;

other religions,
other tongues,
other tribes.
classes and ranks.

but really, what do we actually fear?
