no fear, and go forth.

now's the not the time to hesitate.
to hold back.
why can't i live life to the fullest?
to enjoy and experience how life is really like?

every emotion.
every thought that comes into being.
why is it so hard to be who i need to be?
is being oneself so hard to do?

all i keep saying is that i'll try.
it is useless, all useless.
the excuses i give only contribute to my own demise and self-ruin.
it is dangerous to carry on like that.

so today is the day that i finally say that i ought to find something to look forward to in life.
something fulfilling and worthwhile.
something worth remembering.
so i say, in God i trust.

after all, a dream is but a dream.
while a goal is a dream with a dateline.

Running out of gas.

young men talk about the future because they have no past
whilst old men, on the other hand,
talk about the past,
because they have no future.

so now i ask myself, which is the worst of the two?

we sat and we talked.

legion chalet was a lil' different this year cos the aloha changi chalets were being used as the quarantine zone for those down with the dreaded H1N1 virus.

so instead, we had aloha SJI.
(on a sidenote; aloha actually called some people[nanhua's 410] to ask if they wanted the chalets! like er, no way mann.)

it was kinda weird cos it was like being in a school camp without restraints.
field is yours, hall's free for all, and basically, so was everything else.

saturday night was kinda meaningful cos there was mass by Fr. Valerian. and it was good to see so many familiar faces after so long.

and after that, it was just fun and games. all the crap from Balderdash, the noise from ugly dolls(it's a card game!).

and i swear, sleeping at the cenacle is, um, well, peaceful? it's like, you can sleep there forever.
i think i slept for about 9 hours there and when i finally woke up it, was like 10.30am? so we played badminton on sunday morning(no shoulder-popping action this time round. phew.) till like Jesus knows when.

then it was evening, and i decided enough was enough and went to do my work(more like just mr lee's chem homework). but everyone was just so slack and they kept telling me to stop doing my work and all. so after much nagging, i decided to stop. and then we went out for dinner. on hindsight, it was kinda funny to note that one particular senior by the name of Alvin Cheng spent his whole day in the cenacle sleeping and before we left, i wrote a note telling him that if we wanted dinner he could call us and we'll da bao it for him. and guess what? he called us at around 10.20pm, like when we came back from dinner. like wow. haha.

resumed work at 333's classroom at 12 midnight. spent 4 and half hours doing the whole list of TYS questions for mr lee's lesson the next day. finished at 4.30am. and then gabriel ordered breakfast from Mac's. after which, we tried out his powerpoint version of Don't Forget the Lyrics. went pretty well, 'cept for the fact that i didn't know more than 3/4 of the songs that he chose. like, holy smokes. played till 6? showered, packed up, arranged the furniture and went off. got on 190 at 6.45am and headed to school.

after all my lessons, i decided to meet marcus and gabriel.
so we met at plaza singapura, our usual post camp/retreat hangout. watched hannah montana(yes, you didn't read it wrong. H-A-N-N-A-H M-O-N-T-A-N-A) cos gabriel felt it was pretty good. well, i thought the storyline was okay, but the songs were great. rascal flatts, taylor swift(she's pretty!) and billy ray cyrus were great. and even miss miley aka hannah montana wasn't as bad as i thought she would be.

so i'm like looking for some of the songs from the movie now.

1)butterfly fly away - Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus.
2)bless the broken road - Rascal Flatts
3)game over -steve rushton

yeap. so that was my weekend i guess. all the best for MYEs people!

drink hot coffee,
drink hot tea,
burn your lips
and remember me.
