the aftermath.

my mum kinda just told me that new balance sent me a certificate of participation a few weeks ago. like hey, not bad. pretty neat. but seriously, not the i'm-gonna-show-the-whole-world-kinda material. so i figured it'll be best if i just dumped it into my folder, along with the other certificates that i've gotten and all. looks like it didn't quite meet the mark to be part of my room's decor too.

but interestingly, what it did do, was make me go back to realrun.sg to check out the results. not that i didn't do that before but this time, i decided to check out the whole damn thing. well, just for fun.

so here's what i found out;
the nepalese took the top 3.
4th was a french dude.
an australian took 5th.
and estonia, 6th.
7th to 10th were singaporeans.

like wow. we were "pawned". big time. the winner finished the race in 36 mins and 30 secs.
and i was 525th. and i finished the race in 1 hour, 4 mins and 54 secs.

and just when i thought i was fugging slow, i scrolled down all the way, just for kicks(or rather, to make myself feel a lil' better).

whoa. there were 1667 participants for my race.
so i was 525 out of 1667.

(eh? what's with all the blanks?)

missing timings here and there. i'm guessing they didn't reach the checkpoints in time. last guy was in at 2 hours 30 mins and 21 seconds.

(hey hey, i'm not so bad after all eh.)

anyway, this christmas has been really lonely.
a few smses came in during the midnight mass. a few more after that.
i sent out like 20 plus, but only 2 came back.
this is the shit mann. prolly can't get any worse than this.
